Apostle Daryl Johnson was born and raised in Dayton, OH. His mother was the constant in his life, showing him how to walk with Christ. At the age of 6, he received Christ and knew that his life would be purposed for ministry. He was ordained as a minister in 1993 under the leadership of Pastor Evelyn Harbut; she taught and trained him in the Word and showed him how to pastor people. As a young minister, he was involved with prison ministry (for youth and adult men), nursing home ministry, and working with the delivery team. Apostle Daryl's ministry history has spanned over 30 years and has humbly served as a youth minister, Sunday school teacher, maintenance volunteer, and ultimately as a pastor in 2008.

In 2016, the Lord spoke to him to start Winning in Prayer Global, to teach others how to be passionate about prayer, and from there, Winning in Prayer TV, a Christian broadcasting network, in 2021. He was ordained as an apostle in the Lord's Church in 2022 by Apostle Tokoni Cheryle Bush, The Antioch Experience. He has many hobbies: writing, music, reading, travel, and going to the beach.

Apostle Daryl has been married for 28 years and loves being a husband, dad, and pop-pop to his grandchildren.
